Scott West, said he was upset and angry on Tuesday night after he was told he was longer required at the Western Bulldogs, and has not ruled out playing for another club.
The champion midfielder said that he knew his career was going to end some day, but not like it had on Tuesday.
West said the meeting he had with coach Rodney Eade was cut short cause of the emotions that he had. He added that his family and close friend skipper, Brad Johnson, helped him get through the emotion-filled night.
Eade said that it was the hardest message he had delivered in his coaching career.
