Finals bound teams who were sweating on incidents involving key players over the weekend can breathe a sigh of relief tonight with only Brisbane’s Jamie Charman and Carlton’s Nick Stevens being offered any length on the sidelines.
The match review panel withdrew the match-day reports against Bulldog Brian Lake for striking Crow Scott Stevens and Geelong’s Matthew Stokes for striking Eagle Chad Fletcher.
Swans Barry Hall and Amon Buchanan are also free to play after the panel looked at incidents involving them, but which did not require further action.
Lion Jamie Charman was cited for striking Swan Brett Kirk.
He’ll miss one match if he takes an early plea.
Blue Nick Stevens can accepts a one-match ban if he pleads guilty to striking Hawk Rick Ladson.
Swan Jude Bolton can take a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record for engaging in rough conduct against Lion Albert Proud.
Stevens and Hawk Chance Bateman were fined for wrestling each other, as were Tiger Mitch Morton and Demon Brad Miller.
