The Western Bulldogs have a strong chance of beating Geelong in their preliminary final, according to coach Rodney Eade.

The Bulldogs would have gained a bucket load of confidence after last weekend’s easy semi-final win over the Swans.

The Bulldogs will also be encouraged that they did match the Cats in their last clash in Round 16 at Skilled Stadium, until the Cats took them by surprise and shifted up a few gears in the third and last quarters to beat them by 61-points.

The Cats feel less under pressure then the same time last year when they were facing a 43-year premiership drought, according to assistant coach Ken Hinkley.

Hinkley added that it doesn’t mean the Cats are feeling complacent and would defiantly be approaching the game as they have with every other game this season. Which will be to do their best to make sure they come away with a win.
