Brisbane Lions rookie Pat Garner will be out of action for the entire season following a third knee reconstruction in three years.
Garner was operated on last week after he sought out a knee specialist earlier this month.
The unlucky 21-year-old was recruited by the Lions as a no.27 pick in the 2004 national draft, but has not yet played his first AFL game.
