PROMISING Brisbane Lions midfielder Daniel Rich has capped off his stellar debut AFL season, winning the NAB Rising Star award.
Recruited from Subiaco Football Club, Rich will appear in his first finals series for the Lions against Carlton on Saturday night.
Rich became only the second player to be the unanimous choice for the award, joining Melbourne Demons defender Jared Rivers, who won the award in 2004.
