Matthews writes off Telstra Dome surface

As reported in The Age, Brisbane Lions coach Leigh Matthews has again criticized the quality of the Telstra Dome ahead of tonight
"I think they're watering it quite heavily at the moment to probably make the penetrometer seem a little bit better. It makes it slippery on top, so I think getting a feel for that is probably helpful. If you try to change direction too sharply, you might lose your footing," he said.
Matthews described the surface as extremely dangerous back in the year 2000 and last year Michael Voss called it the worst surface in the AFL.
