After being fined $260,000 for breaches of player payment rules the AFL decided the Brisbane Lions have been punished enough.
As reported in the Herald Sun, the club faced further fines of up to $160,000-a late lodgment fee of $100,000 and up to $60,000 for non lodgment of six statutory declarations associated with player contracts.
The AFL's decision not to penalise the Brisbane camp any further comes just days after the Lions dropped their appeal of the $260,000 fine.
