BRISBANE Lions defender Jed Adcock is the latest victim of the club’s injury crisis, after he fractured his foot during the Lions’ loss to Adelaide on Sunday.
Adcock will now join Jared Brennan, Jamie Charman, Josh Drummond and Daniel Merrett in the medical room.
“Scans have…revealed that Lions vice-captain Jed Adcock has fractured the third metatarsal in his left foot,†the club said in a statement.
“Adcock will undergo surgery (on Tuesday) and is expected to spend an indefinite period of time on the sidelines.â€
The Lions (4-5) won their first four matches of the season, but have not won since.
They face second-placed Collingwood at the Gabba on Saturday night.
