The Swans have signed up a Canadian rugby union player on a two-year international rookie deal.
Mike Pyke, who scored an incredible try for his team against the All Blacks before the 2007 World Cup has just completed a two year deal with French club US Montauban.
The 200 cm tall, 105kg 24-year-old completed a one-week trial period with the club at the end of June and will continue to work hard with the coaches to develop his AFL skills in time for the 2009 pre-season in November.
