Saint Marys continued their title defence with a big win over Palmerston Magpies, Tiwi Bombers scored a hard fought two goal win over last years grand finalists, Waratah. Southern Districts defeated a much improved Buffaloes outfit and Nightcliff defeated Wanderers in a lacklustre game between two clubs expected to occupy the bottom spots on the ladder. The clubs Reserve grade teams took part in the Defence jobs carnival with Nightcliff defeating Waratahs in the final. Reserves and Junior grades kick off this weekend.
