Game of the year hots up

Ahead of the much anticipated game of the year this Sunday, Geelong coach Mark Thompson admits there’s a fierce rivalry building between the two undefeated sides.
Thompson says there is extra feeling when the two sides play, which is all the more so as the match looms as one of the biggest home-and-away games in the league’s history.
Thompson believes neither side likes each other too much, which should add even more sting to the eagerly awaited contest.
Adding fuel to the fire, Geelong defender Matthew Scarlett may receive some extra heat from the Saints following his verbal confrontation with recently retired Saints legend Robert Harvey in last year’s qualifying final.
