Akermanis Speaks

SACKED Western Bulldog Jason Akermanis says he was willing to play a role in this year’s finals, but the club didn’t want him.
Akermanis was sacked today and his former club cited a number of off-field incidents in the past 18 months as the key reason behind the decision.
“I wanted nothing more than help the club in the finals,” Akermanis told the Herald Sun.
“The only problem is they didn’t want my help.”
Akermanis’ father was distraught when he learnt of the decision.
“He may say some controversial things but people think he’s actually right,” Denis Dezdjek said.
