ST.KILDA will be boosted by the return of Nick Dal Santo for Friday night’s clash with Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium.
Ben McEvoy will also play, while Adam Pattison and Jarryn Geary will both miss.
Hawthorn has its own gun ready to return in Lance Franklin. Youngster Carl Peterson will miss the game (wisdom tooth).
Collingwood has made no changes for Saturday’s contest against arch-rival Richmond at the MCG.
The Tigers, though, have made six changes, with Kelvin Moore (leg), Matt White (leg), Will Thursfield (concussion) and Trent Cotchin (suspension) all forced out, while Richard Tambling and Tyrone Vickery have been dropped.
Mitch Morton, Dean Polo, Alex Rance, Ben Nason, Jayden Post and Andrew Browne will come in.
Geelong will welcome back experienced pair Darren Milburn and Steve Johnson for this week’s match against the Brisbane Lions. Simon Hogan (omitted) and Shannon Byrnes (general soreness) are out.
The Lions have lost Ashley McGrath (suspension), while Justin Sherman, Tom Collier and Travis Johnstone have all been omitted.
Albert Proud, James Hawksley, Aaron Cornelius and Ryan Harwood will replace them.
The Lions have lost 11 of their past 12 matches.
Jamie Macmillan will make his debut for North Melbourne against Essendon at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. Josh Smith is also in, while injury-riddled forward Robbie Tarrant (thumb) will miss, along with Sam Wright (concussion).
The besieged Bombers, who are looking to snap a five-game losing run, have welcomed recalled Bachar Houli and Leroy Jetta, while West Australian Kyle Hardingham will make his debut.
Jake Melksham and Nathan Lovett-Murray have been omitted and ruckman Tom Bellchambers (foot) forced out.
West Coast, after last week’s win against Essendon, has named an unchanged side for Saturday night’s game against Carlton at Subiaco.
The Blues have made three changes and will welcome back ruckman Robbie Warnock. Chris Johnson and David Ellard have also been included.
Sean Jacobs and Mitch Robinson have been axed, while Kane Lucas is out injured (hamstring).
In the extended squads for Sunday’s matches, Barry Hall is likely to return to the Western Bulldogs team for the bumper match-up with Fremantle. Dylan Addison and Jordan Roughead may also return.
No outs have been declared at this stage.
The Dockers have lost three players - Kepler Bradley (knee), Ryan Crowley (knee) and Alex Silvagni (groin). Byron Schammer, Nick Suban, Clancee Pearce, Justin Bollenhagen, Jesse Crichton and Antoni Grover have been named as possible ins.
Melbourne has named no outs for its match against Sydney at the MCG, but has included Austin Wonaeamirri, Matthew Warnock and Addam Maric in an extended squad.
The Swans have lost Nick Smith for the match, and have included Trent Dennis-Lane, Lewis Jetta, Sam Reid and Gary Rohan
Daniel Motlop (suspension) and Steven Salopek (season-ending shoulder) have been forced out of Port Adelaide’s team for Sunday’s Showdown against Adelaide. Scott Harding, Jason Davenport and Jay Nash have been dropped.
Those coming in to the 25-man squad are Matthew Thomas, Travis Boak, Alipate Carlile, Daniel Stewart, Robbie Gray, Andrew Moore, Jasper Pittar and Chad Cornes.
The Power has lost their past nine matches.
The Crows, meanwhile, have no outs but have included Nathan Bock, James Sellar and Tony Armstrong in their squad.
The final teams for Sunday’s matches will be known by 5pm Friday.
