AFL players given permission to play this weekend

Some of the AFL listed players have been given permission to have a run in lower league football games this weekend.

The West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers players who have had an interrupted pre-season and need match fitness, will play this weekend for their WAFL clubs.

Players given permission to play this weekend include Andrew Browne, Chris Hall, Garrick Ibbotson and Scott Thornton from Fremantle.

For West Coast, Adam Hunter Brad Ebert, Tim Houilihan, Jamie McNamara, Tony Notte, Matt Rosa, Will Schofield and Tom Swift will also have a run.

Other high profile AFL players that have been given permission to have one last hit out before the AFL season kicks off next weekend include; Nick Riewoldt, Steven Baker, Robert Murphy, Anthony Rocca and Paul Medhurst.
