Adelaide captain Simon Goodwin says embattled team-mate Nathan Bock is not mentally fit to play senior football at the Crows.
Goodwin’s remarks follow the club’s decision to suspend Bock for at least one match after he was charged with assaulting his girlfriend outside an Adelaide hotel last Saturday night
Bock was also fined $5000 and ordered to do 50 hours community service at a women’s shelter.
The 26-year-old defender was still in shock on Tuesday following the incident, with club officials saying advice taken by the club’s doctor would have a big bearing on when Bock would be allowed to return to the club.
