Power hit more bad luck

Port Adelaide have suffered a major blow with talented forward Justin Westhoff being sidelined for at least eight weeks, due to a slow recovery from his broken left foot suffered in the round-two loss to the Eagles at Subiaco.
Westhoff has been placed on the club’s long term injury list.
Port Adelaide football operations manager Peter Rohde said Westhoff had a pin put in his fifth metatarsal which will result in atleast an eight-week break from the game.
The power initially thought he would only miss four to six weeks but Rohde said that after having looked at other players who have faced similiar injuries, it’s taken them six weeks just before they can start training again, let alone play a game of footy.
Port Adelaide’s season has taken a few more blows with captain Dom Cassisi and veteran Peter Burgoyne set to miss the clash with the rejuvenated Hawks at the MCG on Saturday, after accepting their bans from the AFL match review panel.
