Adelaide Crows defender Andy Ottens is round nine’s AFL rising star nominee.
The 20-year-old gathered 23 possessions and kicked a goal in his team’s easy win over the Blues at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
Ottens hasn’t missed a game all season and has averaged 19 disposals coming off the backline in the first nine games of his career, which has already seen him become a valuable member of the Crows defensive set-up.
Otten was Adelaide’s second round selection at the 2007 AFL Draft.
