The draft camp talent is not all that exciting with the top 20 players all likely to be midfielders. AFL talent scouts have stated that the big man department is lacking significantly this year which is unfortunate but opens the door for midfielders.
WA talent will not doubt rate highly with young Swans gun Lewis Jetta, a mature age boy, probably coming into the mix in the early teens which is also another positive side for the mature age players up to 23.
A number of the talent scouts have confirmed that they are on the look here in the west of possible mature age recruits who can step up should injuries hit them early in the season.
