ADELAIDE excitement machine Brett Burton has announced his retirement, effective at the conclusion of this season.
Burton is the third experienced Crowe to hang up his boots this season, with the decision following those of veterans Simon Goodwin and Tyson Edwards.
Burton, 32, has put together an impressive career. He currently stands on 177 games and has kicked 264 goals.
He will be remembered by his high-flying antics and has entertained fans since his stint at the top level began in 1999.
