Adelaide have bagged their third AFL Rising star nominee for the season, with Taylor Walker being nominated for round 10. Walker booted five first-half goals in Adelaide's win over the Hawks on Sunday. Round nine saw Taylor's young team-mate, defender Andy Otten take out the rising star nomination. The other Crow to win the nomination this season was Patrick Dangerfield.

Adelaide youngster Patrick Dangerfield is the Round 3 nominee for the AFL's Rising Star award. Playing in his fifth AFL game, he impressed with a 20 possession and one goal effort in Adelaide's tense 24-point win against the Dockers on Sunday. The 19-year old on-baller was recruited from the Geelong Falcons in the 2007 national draft.
