Massive test this week against a mob that has embarrassed us in recent times.

Last season we went close. Be a huge confidence boost to beat a mob like this on their own dunghill. And it is a dunghill. Makes EF Oval look like a bowling green.

Claremont have some goal kicking power in Richardson, Crawford and Jones who always goes nuts against us. Some key match up challenges for the match committee. Billings for Richardson in my view. Cruttenden - who has been fair dinkum fantastic so far - for Crawford.

Crabb and Rudeforth kill us every time out of the middle.

We only broke even in centre clearances last week. That’s an area that needs to improve this week.

Who takes Jones?

Crabb is listed as having a shoulder injury, so might not play. If he does play, make sure we give him several decent bumps and a few gang tackles so he leaves the field injured again.

Their oval is almost as shit as bassandean and that is REALLY saying something shut eye

.

Yep, who takes Jones. Same problem we have against them everytime.

Zuccs would have to be the first option but often required elsewhere.

Why not McLernon? He’s got the tank to go with Jones who runs across the middle and half forward all day long. He’s almost like a forward midfielder the way the guy works. He’s such a key playmaker for them I’d tag him.

Paul Bunn is another option for Richardson, who looks about 12 years old.

Satan you obviously haven’t been to Claremont Oval for while. Disgrace of an oval. If there was such a thing as standards in the WAFL would be declared unfit for WAFL level footy.

Yep it was. And you are right.

Add Basso, half completed and half arsed Leederville Oval and that concreted abomination that is Freo Oval and its not hard to see why EFTel kills them for conducive watching of footy.

Speaking Leederville,Seeing as though NEALE NOWHERE FONG has come out of his RATHOLE to UTTER a SQUEAK,perhaps he might care to explain how many tickets the WAFC intend to release for a COFE Final?

Be awfully EMBARASSING if the Capacity is only 15 000 and another 5 000 are stuck outide the gate, trying to get in.YET ANOTHER MONUMENTAL BALLS UP!

I’d prepare a contingency for CRABB playing. We have to watch ORZEL as well.Or beat him to the ball.He cuts us up every time he plays us.

ZUCCONI for me.Mind you, only his 2nd game, but we can’t be too presumptous about our New FULL BACK not getting a crack.Maybe not,bit of a height difference with DREW.Nah,need someone to man up HARD on Jones.

And risk a REPORT if he does that ON THE MARK SHIT.If it’s in the Goalsquare, shove the BALL UP HIS ARSE!Or UP HIS NOSE!Give him that message early.

“Do that with Kids.NOT ME!”

Richardson AJ & Crawford all Dangers Forward

If C Jones gets a run down at Claremont from the Eagles then we have a real problem

You would expect Heise or Siekierka could stop Richardson & maybe your right McLernan might be good on AJ - maybe we could give Sellwood a Job on him - the kid is an aspiring AFL medium Tall Back

Key is to Win the M Field and exploit their Slow Backline

But the Real Key is to play with the same hard run & Passion as last week v South

The boys have had a taste of Winning Piss & hopefully they like the Taste

Only when they win.And even then,I reckon if they’re SERIOUS this year, they’ll take it easy on the nights they’re allowed to have a drink.

I don’t think CHAD JONES would be allowed to play with CLAREMONT.He layed a full game with WEST COAST last week didn’t he?That should make him and about 40 others(WC and Frem)INELIGIBLE to play.

Stalky might explain any TECHNICALITIES that might allow anyone who played AFL last week,to play WAFL this week.SAM played for us last week and should be eligible.

Thats a good point Grassy. I would have thought Mark Johnson would play for us this week coz he’ll need the run but probably wont be eligible?

Yes C Jones in for them, but Butler, Mayne, M Johnson & Armstrong in for us. I feel for the guys who will miss out. I’m not sure C Jones will be a problem if the ball is down the other end.

No reason why we can’t win it if we play well, even at Claremont.

Go DEES!!!!!!

Holy sh*t. 4 very handy ins for us. Forecast is for some rain so might take Jones of it a bit. But we’ll still have to roll up ready to play or we could get our pants pulled down like we have in the past. Good luck trying to drop 4 blokes from last weeks side

Lang looked in a bit of pain when we went off so a bonus he must be right to play. A pity 4 have to miss out but really puts the cats amongst the pidgeons in try to cement a position, especially with a number of reserves players pressing for inclusion. Conditions on the day will determine final line-up.

What worries me is in the past when we’ve had a strong AFL contingent we disappoint. Lets hope they don’t go back to chipping it around, the football played last week and against EP was brilliant direct football with the right forward set up.

Krueger surely couldn’t line up at FB after the way he and the forward line functioned last week kicking our biggest score in god knows how long, the coach would be committing career suicide.

I think they’ve got the outs right for a change, debutant Robinson, S. Young, Mzungu, White. I never thought I’d ever be saying this, but Mzungu is the unlucky omission.

As pleased as I am to have them back,I must say I’m staggered the Rules allow some to do so.Have they changed?

I wouldn’t have thought MARK JOHNSON was eligible to play, alongside CHAD JONES.They both played AFL last week,so were meant to rest unless they were chosen to play in the 150th Anniversary Match.

Butlers inclusion is a worry, looked far from it in the ressies last week.

For the first time in over 10 years (if not longer at Claremont oval) we should go into this game as favourites.
6 current afl players plus 2 fresh out of the system and of course last weeks winning form also they are coming off the bye.

The only thing that will see us undone is team placements out on the field and of course the game plan, play the guys out of position and we will pay the price.
Krueger has to line up at full forward.

On paper best team we have had for a lng long time.
The away wins are so important and a win here could go some way of erasing that loss against Peel at home.

Collingwood don’t win the 2011 flag,Swan districts finish 8th and the Eagles finish 4th,Thats a pretty sweet year!!

On paper this looks a great side. Let’s hope that Chopper and Buts are fit. I think Sammy will need to be managed carefully as he appears to be still underdone.
Grassy, I don’t think that we would have got Johnno if Chad Jones had not been released to Claremont. Army being released also is a bonus although we may have got him anyway if WCE were playing this week.
I don’t know what the rules are but I think that the AFL clubs can request AFL permission to release players who are coming back from injury or are lacking form and confidence.
Like others, I feel very sorry for the boys who miss out this week after a great team effort last week.
