BAD LUCK TO THE COLTS would have been nice to have all three grades in the GF and to miss out by 1pt! in SUDDEN DEATH!!! would have been good if the umps actually knew the rules as well! according to the rule book if it is drawn at full time there is a break but the ball goes back to where the last score was before the siren (which was a Claremont behind). Instead the umps took it back to the middle.

Anyway well done Peel they were the better side on the day. Good to see all of the league and ressies and the coaching staff there to support the boys .

I know a few of those boys so a bit sad for them to go down in such circumstances. Good to see Peel going ok - mind you, most of their better players will get drafted/poached in years to come, so whether this will translate to league success…

yeah it was I have never seen a closer game what a finish, whats the deal in the league if its a draw at the final siren? I think they do extra time right? not sure why the colts is different.

i would assume so,but having never seen PERTH play a LEAGUE Final in 13 years,I’d have to BRUSH UP a bit on those rules.1997 probably had provisions for a REPLAY in the event of a Draw.

the umpires guideline book 2010 - we had a copy of it, we tried showing the section to the umps they would not have a bar of it!
