League: Bullcreek-Leeming v Wanneroo
Although Wanneroo finished the seaosn on top of the ladder, I think from what I have seen of both sides of late, the Bombers have a better game plan, which was proven in the last encounter between these two sides. If the Roo’s midfield can keep plentiful and efficient supply to their tall forwards, then they may be in with a chance, but I can’t see that happening, as Bullcreek’s half back line will hold the key to this game and restrict Wanneroo’s advances. It will be just good to see a side wearing red and black win a flag this year.

Reserves: Bullcreek-Leeming v Warnbro Swans
Having coached against both sides this year, I think they are both equally matched and its very hard to predict a clear winner in this one. Both thoroughly deserve to be there, and I think it will come down to the battle of the two key ruckmen from eiether side. Whichever sides big man can dominate the game, that team should emerge the victor. In saying that, I think The Bombers will have enough at ground level to compliment their ruck division and get the job done.

Colts: Kingsway v Thornlie
Anyone attending the C Gold Grand Final should get there very ealry for what should be considered the Match of The Day. You could not have asked for a more moutwatering lead-up to a Grand Final. The first time these two sides met, the game was abandoned ealry in the first quarter due to an all-in melee, so we never got a result and both teams were awarded 2 points. The eagerly anticipated round 2 clash also left us guessing, as Kingsway managed to relinquish a handy lead and the two sides split the points once again as thornlie steamed home to draw the game. How often do the same two sides play out two draws in a season? The Grand Final will eventually produce a winner, and my money is on Kingsway. The Roos have been the benchmark all season long, and the week off should do them a world of good.

Good luck to all teams.
