Claremont v Swan Districts
Head to head:
Played 230 Cl 140 SD 88 D 2
@ Claremont Oval
Played 102 Cl 70 SD 32
Last time:
Claremont 18.10 (118) d SD 6.9 (45)
Let the real stuff begin!
Claremont’s loss to East Perth should have them well and truly fired up. Really got the feeling that they held back a bit, like St Kilda did, no point losing players in a game that meant little in the big picture. Foster was “rested”, he plays a very big part for Claremont. Will young Murphy break back into the side? Will Thomo be fit and selected? How will the forward line line up? Has McPhee been holding back something since Chad Jones did his hammy?
With West Coast gone for the season there will be a lot to pick from with little or no interference. Dockers play on Saturday so we will know well in advance who is free. Silvagni got reported, not sure if he will go.
Who will take Hansen? Will Gaeppen be rubbed out.....if the umpires do their job properly it should be season over for him rasberry ....( brace for swandog comeback)
Will Dawson’s leaving get Swans pumped?
Should be a rip-snorter.

Why would Claremont be fired up over the EP game? Haven’t Claremont fans been saying the loss meant nothing?

Well seeing that there is me and Mr T from Claremont on this site I guess you’re referring to me Robbo! as stated previously I reckon it was great they loss! bit of a shock to the system for them and they will come out a different side this week trust me.

One loss and everyone writes them off!

Has everyone written off Collingwood or the Saints? No.

But hey no drama watch what happens this weekend.

He was reported for charging which is a lot different to a melee...if found guilty he could cop a week or 2

I didn’t see any head-high contact, but all I saw was Geappen and O’Brien pushing each other than all players came in for one big Melee

Got that right. An awful lot of late tackles and bumps off the ball v East Perth. Walton had stitches, Silvagni reacted out of frustration and ended up being reported. The most 50 metre penalties I can recall. Number 30 tried to elbow Schammer in the head well after he kicked the ball.

How the heck did silvagni react out of frustration? what frustration? that the ball was bout to be handballed over his head?
Didnt take him long to become a typical claremont handbagger

I’m hoping Claremont and EP win on the weekend as a prelim of SD v EP will be like UFC with Swan, Beeck and co up against Spaaaaandex, Roberts and the other SD thugs.  and not only a bloodbath on the field but off as well with the ferals and bogans going toe to toe in the outer...should be great viewing.  LOL

If Stack and Bristow were playing it would be even more interesting.
