Congratulations to the E Grade winners in the grand finals at RG Reserve on Saturday.

Finally a long awaited flag for Wesley Curtin in the reserves! Came out of the blocks and put the first 5 goals on the board before Mt Lawley scored but game then turned in to a tough slog and Mt Lawley worked their way back in to the game. They had the chance to hit the front in the last quarter but the Tigers kept their cool under pressure with a few of the old heads experience to hang on and win 7.6 to 6.6 and win their first flag in 10 years.

North Freo won the league easily by about 7 goals and as much as it pains me to say deserved the flag. Well done TA’s on making it. Collegians upset Fremantle CBC by 1 pt in what must have been a great Brett Jones Colts GF.

The E Reserves was a great game played in good spirits by both sides. Wesley Curtin off to a flyer and up 5 goals to 0 at 1/4 time but only scored 2 goals for the rest of the game with Mt Lawley finishing all over them.
A lot of former good players were involved in both sides and the standard, despite not many goals was very high.

Yeh saw the E league Grand Final and thought ta’s had a chance looking at the way they played in the first quarter. However, north freo woke up and came out firing in the second half. ta’s couldnt handle the pressure by the looks of it. well done to north freo and to ta’s on making the gf. good effort after finishing 4th or 5th after the home and away season
