There hasn’t been much banter about the E Grade on the forum. Just looked at the Grand Finalists
North Freo vs Ta’s. Should be an interesting match at Richard Guelfi.
North Freo surely the favourites but TA’s look like they’ve been playing some good footy.
Thoughts?

TAs 3rds sides have a bit of GF experience in the last few years, but North Freo have been the best team in this comp by a mile all year, would be surprised if TAs get within 5 goals of them on the big stage.

North Freo have been extremely strong in the E Grade for at least the last three years and our guys (Wesley Curtin) came close to knocking them off last year in the GF.

I think Uni might have knocked them off this year in one game but hard to see TA’s matching them in the GF but anything can happen. We played TA’s in the second half of this year and they were a lot stronger than the first time we played them when we beat them. But still would expect North Freo to win by at least a few goals.

The ressies should be interesting as well. Our guys finished top and interestingly play Mt Lawley who have knocked a few of the stronger teams like Uni and North Freo off the last few weeks. Hopefully our boys can get across the line and snag a long awaited premiership!

The Mtlawley ressies team gets let out of the nursing home each week, wes to do the job i feel.

Hopefully they are hurting after 3 finals then!! Any chance they have any decent 3’s players dropping back for finals and that’s why they’ve done quite well?

In true mtlawley fassion they probably stack the side, pay players or get them straight from swannies.

I vaguely remember BEROS FOR PM whinging about Wesley stacking their reserves for a cheap flag.

Sounds like he oughta look a little closer into his own backyard!

ta’s to get done by 4 goal. nth freo have been dominant in the 3’s for a few years and the way ta’s looked when we played them (all be it earlier in the year) i think nth freo should account for them quite comfortably. although 1 game in 4 weeks for nth freo, will they come out lathargic?

To all playing on saturday good luck and be careful on this ground saw the c grade play there last week and the ground is in shit condition the rooms and that are great but the ground for an a grade club is sub standard. Again good luck and make sure you have a good look around for the pot holes

North Freo deserve to win. Dominate all year. beat us by 15 goals. TAs would need to be at their very best, we managed to knock them off this year and in general felt more beatable then North. But finals are funny games and who knows what might happen

Yeah we beat TA’s the first time round and then got done by a vastly different side about a month or so later but even then we were only beaten in the first quarter and couldn’t it peg it back during the game.

Would love to see North Freo get rolled in an upset but it’s a long shot.

It’s at Richard Guelfi, stirlings home ground. Should be a ground that suits North Freo’s style of play.

last time they played a final there they got done by 8 or so goal, good luck to both teams.
