League

Whitfords V TA’s @ Medibank
Didn’t expect to see Whitfords get thumped by Beach on Saturday. I think the big Whitties bodies perform better on a smaller oval. Perhaps that’s why they beat TA’s both times in the last two matchups at Bill Grayden. TA’s are an interesting side. They rarely win by large margins but have won all the close games this year. TA’s have a lot of smaller runners and on the bigger ground they are a chance. If they are within 2 or 3 goals at three quarter time I tip they will win.

TA’s by 1 goal

Reserves
TA’s Vs North Fremantle
TA’s have lost both their games this year (NF & NB) by less than a goal. North Fremantle have some big blokes who can easily turn a match. However they are somewhat undisciplined and will need to keep a lid on the rough stuff. Like in the League side TA’s have an abundance of small runners who should do what it takes to earn the right for a rematch with North Beach.

TA’s by 4 goals

League:

Going to be a tricky one for Whitfords. After a loss like that on the weekend, can they truly believe they are a chance “if” they do make it through to the GF? Also Whitfords have been quite poor when they go into a match thinking they should win (Wembly, Stirling & Mt Lawley x2).

That said, I believe Whitfords should be there and will respond with a win.

Whitfords by 4 goals.

Reserves:

TA’s had a very distracting week worrying about why they were having to play at Chas Riley and why it was all covered with sand and it showed in the first quarter, going down by 3 goals early. They are a good outfit and are too good of a side not to bounce back and get to the grand final where they belong.

TA’s by 6 goals.

T/A’s - I don’t think it really matters who wins this game because I don’t think either side can beat NB. The one thing T/A’s have going for them is Zucconi playing good football and that could be the difference.

League:
TA’s over Whitfords

I know whitfords beat TA’s by 50 odd points in the qualifying final but from what i saw by whitfords on the weekend i cant see them winning this weekend, TA’s will rely heavily on Zucconi but Daniher is a crucial player for them also and they will want to make there first grand final in a while. (When was TA’s or Whitfords for that matter last in a Grandy?)

Reserves:
TA’s over North Fremantle

Trinity are a very solid big bodied team and rely on their 2 big forwards ebbs and franich to kick them a winning score, they will fancy themseleves against a North Freo side that has struggled in the last 6 or so weeks but will prime themselves this week and Minna will need to kick at least 4-5 for them to win. TA’s forwards to big and strong and they should win by a bit.

Main Game
If nothing else we will have a new side competing against North Beach in the GF this year, because both Whitfords & TA’s have twice fallen previously at the last hurdle and not made the final day. Despite getting thumped by North Beach I think Whitfords will win. TA’s just don’t seem to have enough firepower to me.

Whitford to beat TA’s by 5 goals

In the Reserves I expect TA’s to win easily.

TA’s to beat Nth Freo by 5 goals

What the heck happened to Whitfords last week. Thought they had a chance against the 10th WAFL side for 2012. TA’s continue to overachieve against the odds. Like to see TA’s get up but for me Whitfords to advance to their first A Grade Grand Final

Whiitties by 4 goals

TA’s in the Reserves over the Ftle outfit.
