How the hell has Worsfold kept his job? The knives must have been out long ago for Knights. Just because precious Johnny won a flag (A sus one at that, Fletcher, Cick, Cousins), he gets to keep his job. Essendon has a much better list and gets rolled. As in the words of Monty Python, you lucky lucky bastard.

One is a revered son (and they are ALWAYS harder to remove, i should kmow we have had plenty or revered sons at the cattery), the other is just another coach from another club.
Interesting how the media in Melb, were “all over” the knights scenario for weeks, even during the match on Sat night, YET very little in the Media here about Woosha’s job. Not many here are really prepared to SERIOULSY ask a NUMBER (one after the other with no “nice questions in between), in a row.
What does your post have to do with the thread title?? Asbolutely nothing? Here I was hoping for a rumour I had not heard yet.. but no, instead we get more Boc-Boc-Bulldust.

Gee, let me think about that one. Lets sack a guy who had no game plan and replace him with a guy who had a an even worse game plan, whose only saving grace is that he was fortunate enough to inherit a list chock full of superstars a few years back and accidentally win a premiership solely with the talent he had on the park. Lets face it, even Tim Watson could have coached WCE circa 2005/2006 to those Grand Finals!
NO THANKS!
"deano43” Allow me the simple task of acquiring your simpleton-like reasoning, as to how the following players in 2002 amounted to “a list chock full of superstars a few years back and accidentally win a premiership solely with the talent he had on the park”? Some of that squad being: Wirrpunda, McIntosh, Glass, Collica, Jackovich, Wooden, Williams, Cousins, Morrison, Donnelly Sierakowski, Fletcher, Matera, Cummings, Banfield, Gardiner, Kemp, Read, Turnbull, Matera, Braun Jones, Carroll, Harding, Embley, Gaspar, Wooden, Fewster. That does not look like the 2006 squad that won West Coast a premiership. I’ll allow you the pleasure of getting a bit excited in your last post; but do us all a favour. Next time, think before you type.
Deano, let’s not forget that Bomber Thompson remarked in an interview that he modelled the Cats game plan on Woosh’s. Particularly on the high quantity of handballing. Must have been quite sh!te, Cats aren’t doin’ too well.
Listening to the commentary from Blight in the ‘06 GF commenting on Woosh’s tactics of moving Hunter from forward to the backline straight after kicking a goal. Blight was kissing Woosh’s cherry. Blight was never any good either was he?
The old tall poppy syndrome - he was god’s gift with two GFs in a row, from a squad he DID develop - I’m died in the wool WCE but get annoyed by those who can’t cop a bit of a struggle, we’ve only missed the finals a handful of times in our existence!! Plenty of clubs who would givew their first born for our record...Having said that I think his time is up, would like to see Laidley have a crack at our list
Woosha lost the 2005 gf on selection night, also in that game moved Glass off Hall which was a critical error and he made the very same error in the 2007 final against Collingwood where he took Glass off Rocca with a few minutes left in the qaurter and bang Rocca kicks 2 crucial goals. Also in the past few years our recruiting has been shocking and we are left with the slowest and most unskillfull team in the AFL but Woosha cant see that and refuses to address it. Its time for a change !
I would suggest that the blatant bias of the AFL Tribunal had far more to do with the loss of the 05 grand final than any moves made, or not made, by Worsfold.
People are welcome to advise me to “get over it”. But I have yet to see a rational explanation of the decision they made about Hall. Perhaps when I do (if ever), I will move on.
