If I have to YES hope I dont but anything can happen in September! Never know whether winning the 2nd semi is a good thing or not. In 07 we won it then lost the GF. In 05 we beat Swans in the 1st semi, won the Prelim then got pumped by souths and in 04 we got killed by Subi in the 2nd semi killed Swans in the Prelim and got belted by Subi a week later.
I guess the good point of winning the 2nd semi is you get a week off to freshen up and if its close in the GF you should be able to run over a side in the final quarter. The other side of the argument is (and this was the case in 07) you get too cocky or are asleep in the 1st quarter (i.e. our effort of 0.0 which wasnt the best of starts!).
A side like EP with their tradition could be hard to beat if they get over the line this week, more confidence more belief into a prelim one game away from the big stage.
