OK a loss today lets not go into panic mode lets just writeit off and get on with it.

Need certain players to lift. Stevenson got a lot of the ball but he turns it over too much. Ninja hasnt kicked many goals for ages. I reckon Thommo should be back in played well in the ressies today. Neates and Mitch were quiet today. Jess Laurie is coming into some form.

We missed Foster today but he will be good to go next week. Blacky had a quiet one as did Brabba but rarely do they have 2 bad games in a row.

I am sure Macca will watch the game over and over and see what went wrong. I think a lot of the younger players lost it mentally today. Hope that doesnt happen in the finals.

For now lets celebrate the minor premiership! turn up next Sunday and support the boys into a GF.

Hey Tiges do you know the announcer at freo oval? Im just being constructive here but he gets what he has to say across quickly & not too loudly & you can actually get to hear what the coaches are saying without the urge to scream out “oh just shut the fk up will ya” No offence but i get that urge with you & the medibank guy all the time & it was a refreshing change today....might pay to have a listen on how he works if hes back there next season.

Yep duly noted - I just read out what I am told to but it did seem at Leederville today the bloke didnt have half as many messages to read out, maybe they just dont give a toss and refuse to read them out. I didnt think it was that loud at Claremont - you cant even hear the announcements on the outer.

Was it quieter at Freo? or just not as many messages? from memory the speakers there are set back from the ground.

Yeah I gathered you are just doing your job...geez the medibank bloke must have toned down then...but maybe the ep bloke is a different bloke from the subi one??? Yes freo was both quieter & less to say..but he did give scores from other grounds & afl scores too.

yeah well I give regular updates on WAFL and AFL scores - maybe the other announcers just dont read out the messages they are supposed to. No shit I get around 6 pages of it, I could almost recite them for you now!

Theres the one for the Game liftout in the West, the one for Ace cinemas, the one for AAMI insurance, the one for the Dockers Cup. Then there is our club notes, its too much.

Its so badly written as well. Example - some of the messages refer to the 2009 season and in the last home game I was still reading a scriptthat said something like “its that time of the year football is here again” when its almost the end of the season. We have to read out “put your hands together for the reserves for a well fought out game” even if one side has won by 200pts!

I have to go through and correct all the errors on the Friday when I get the announcements.

I think from now on I will just make an executive decision and leave some out.

Well its not as if someone from the WAFC is going to say “you missed out on the AAMI announcement in the 3rd quarter”!

Our CEO is a bit paranoid when it comes to doing the “right thing” if I dont hit the club song within 2 secs of the club running out he gives me a panicked look!!

Watch out for executive decision making next season!

If someone other than Subiaco started playing the away team’s songs as they run out/win, that would be a good start for you T10 smile

Its a bit unprofessional really, compared to the AFL. Maybe I’m being a bit pedantic, but i do get a kick out of hearing the song after we win.

At least we made the finals! WP were pathetic this year as we showed last week when we kicked your ass! you set yourself up for a big fall when you make comments like that.

And we’ll see, one loss doesnt maketh the season, oh and btw we only had 2 for the entire year how many did you have again? you probably wouldnt know coz all you do is go to other peoples sites and try and stir trouble, what a loser!

Minor premiers is good, but now its finals & it doesn’t really mean anything now, all 4 teams are 0-0 again…CL have a lot of work 2 do, to make sure this finals campaign doesn’t turn in a choke fest like your last finals campaign…

But hey, good on ya 4 making it, 5 other teams didn’t…
