Well the front runners haven’t come out of their hole or maybe offered a token gesture to this magnificent side.
Is this the best centrals team ever - possibly.
With all the pressure heading into the grand final on their heads, centrals started off as though they certainly felt it with tigers leading by 20 points at quarter time.
The second quarter was a tighter affair with the favourites pulling the margin back to 9 points at the major break with plenty of work to do.

Not sure what the centrals coach said at half time, but it worked. The team came out and started playing like the undefeated team they were and posted a 3 goal lead heading into the last stanza.

Everyone knew the tigers weren’t going to lay down and gave it everything.
The siren sounded with Centrals in front by 5 points.

This is would have been a lousy result had tigers pinched this one. Nothing more, nothing less.
Centrals clearly were the best team all year.
Remember the terms - humble in victory, gracious in defeat.
Still waiting for your lousy congratulations to centrals kr.
god help us when your mob fall over afl time.

Every single player got a handshake and congrats immediately after the game mate.
Also I see you failed too mention that Tigers had control for much of the last qtr and had a shot on goal with minutes remaining which shaved the post had this been a goal would’ve put the Tigers in front. Centrals played smart footy and held the ball up in the forward zone and chewed up the clock. It was a well deserved win as they were undefeated however it was a very gallant Tigers side which threw everything at the best team in the comp only to go down by 5 Points 10.14 to 10.9

That’s better - would have been a bitter first loss in the g.f

cool smirk i see the tiger white hat maggots are conjuring up another premiership.
no wonder 99% of supporters banged up for centrals. even the tigers girls came on board - the turncoats. but then again, everyone loves a winner wink
