They have been lucky so far, Our biggest drama will be how to beat Canning.
Yes you are right “the Goat” we did ( Belmont ) get knocked out first round of the finals after finishing third by the 6th place team. But come finals the H & A rounds dont really mean jack. Ask anyone finals are a whole different kettle of fish.
AS far as i have seen, neither of your teams have performed that well in finals either? Or have they and i have missed it somehow?
Maybe before you start pointing fingers at people or teams for being jokes , how about your “teams “ worry about getting the job done by actually winning the Flag and THEN hang as much crap as you want on teams that under performed in finals.
But until then maybe just a few words of advice...... I dont know if you are still playing or just a “supporter” but if either of your teams play this week like they did on saturday i guess you better book some annual leave this monday Cause thats when your mad monday will be..
How is that a joke, few injuries and outs can certainly change a side, or they play poorly on the day. I remember Belmont knocking off Dianella quite convincingly a month or so before finals?
Wouldn’t it be a bigger joke the 2nd place side can’t even get close to the 1st place side on the weekend, meaning even if you make the gf your just wasting your time? Or possibly you just didn’t play well enough on the weekend and on your day you will beat Canning?....<-- see my point.

Thats a boy goat, dont pay any respect or worry about Carlisle. After all they only finished 6th didnt they. You will make your club look sillier than any of the other finals sides if you loose this week going out in straight sets after finishing 2nd and not making the grand final.
I know which club has the most to loose this week and it wont be the boys from Carlisle will it mate
I thought the goat was eluding to the finals structure that doesn’t give the 3rd placed team a second chance. IMO it should have been a top 5 as per normal.

Well you would have also seen Carlilse knock off Belmont and Swan Valley, two teams above them and both times they were the underdog. They are definately playing some good footy at the right time of year..

Actually last time we played Carlisle we were 9 points down early in the last quarter before kicking 7 unanswered goals in a 15-minute purple patch to claim the win. That’s hardly a flogging. Anyone who can knock off Belmont and Swan Valley in consecutive weeks, both away, must be going alright.
We will work hard on the track this week and go into Saturday expecting a tough contest, with the belief that if we play our best footy we will get the result we are after.
