Pretty quiet on the old Subi thread fellas. Anyone going to the game on Saturday, or have we all spat the dummy?
I enjoyed the game last weekend, hoping for a bit of entertainment on the last game. Will Waterman stick with the same old, or try some young fellas out? I thought young Buddy Pickett showed a little bit last weekend - was a pleasant surprise. Just takes opportunity hey. Really nice goal he kicked after the great dummy he sold.

Yeah mate Im heading down, heard muddy in the 3qtr time address on Sat saying theres a changing of the guard about to take place so pull your fingers out to not only survive for next year but for next week...so Id say we’ll see some new faces this week...Yeah Buddy did alot better than his first game & he’ll be a good player for sure…
I think the Coach would what to win. He hasn’t had a good year, one to remember. Going from Premiers 3 years and coming second last year. I would suggest as a Coach it would be a failed year. To have a change of coach and assistance coaches, i think they don’t know the capabilities of some plays and maybe listen to the wrong plays within the team.
It’s still, as they say, “mathematically possible”:
(please dont hit me!)
First and foremost, Perth must beat West Perth by any margin. With Jars coaching his last game and perth desperate to get off the bottom with a win, not impossible. But West Perth are at home and playing for a finals spot.
Next, Claremont should defeat East Perth, as well as us beat Souths. Not bad odds for theose results.
But obviously the key is the percentage difference (15% between EP and S). The collective margins of both games would have to be >310 points, e.g. EP 30 v 200 C & SF 20 v 160 S.
Easy as pie, IMO.

I was talking to Scott Worthingtons junior coach today - he reckons he is an absolute gun forward capable of kicking the long goals from outside 50. Why dont we play him forward then???

Not much of a changing of the guard by the looks of the listed team? Nice to read the forward flanks though - A Pickett and A Pickett
I heard mention of the two Ali’s playing together on a podcast of the Coodabeen Champions out of Melbourne a few weeks ago, so it sure has got some exposure.

Yeah I guess he must have been happy with the last qtr effort…
Well me what a game 54 total goals kicked & 33 from us!!! How handy would have crowley (7 goals) & read (4 goals) been LAST week! How good was Rumble up forward??? He added something weve needed all season...shame muddy didnt listen to this genius who said he should be put forward earlier in the season when it was obvious we had nothing up there!!! Like I said Germo through him down there quite a few times when we needed goals & he always produced...lost count of the times I heard our players scream to campbell WORK KIWI!!!...Hes gone.....good win for webby & goodbye & well done to the champ…
