Thanks for the update Waterboy. So thats 121 goals between Jones and Foster.

Its a mute point Tigerland, the point about not missing Jones - simple because he has kicked 85 goals and had he not done so, you may have lost other games. To land nearly 100 goals in a season . . and he would have reached that figure if not for injury . .  speaks of a high level of consistency . . a tried and true system. That may not be present now. Yes you’ve flogged Swans and WP but crashed against EP where only 11 goals were scored. Come the finals and a consistent, reliable goalkicker is invaluable. He is the go to man when the pressure is on . . just as you guys did with Richardson in the last quarter on Saturday.  And robbing your defence of Crawford and Wilkes is a risk given that Swans have the capacity to kick a swag of goals.

I’m not writing you guys off, but key goalkickers are real gems in the heat of a final’s battle where lowish scores are more typical than blow outs.

Have Swans got Hansen?

Swans have Hansen which is a worry as they have Geappen as well. Crawford doesnt usually play in defence and we will have Eric Mackenzie back in the side in defence.

Anyway nothing we can do about Jonesy he aint playing so we have to move on. A lot of players were down against EP trust me. Ninyette had a shocker he usually kicks 2 or 3 and we will have a few pop up to kick goals in the finals.

As long as we get our running game going and get it in there and not play like we did against the royals which was boring stop start footy, we will be ok.
