EP v CL
Head to head:
Played 256 EP 143 CL 111 D 2
@ Medibank Stadium
Played 12 EP 3 CL 9
Last time they met:
CL 24.13 ( 157) d EP 6.18 ( 54)
Interesting last round....can East Perth create an upset or will the Tigers sweep them away?
Medibank Stadium holds no fears for Claremont as far as East Perth go, winning 9 out of 12 matches there.
Will Claremont have players with “general soreness” or will they go out full throttle? A lot of players to choose from in the Magoos.
East Perth will be desperate to play finals, so it should be a cracker. First, second and third spots in the finals have been settled, East Perth and West Perth are fighting out for the last spot and will play East Freo at Shark Park in the 1st semi.
Claremont by 36 points.

In 04 05 and 07 we probably would have lost this one not this year when you have so many players who will want to maintain their spot in the side. Winning form is good form and it would have to be an almighty turn around considering we beat EP by 100+ in our last encounter.

Form is good, EP will throw everything at us but we will resist and win not by much but we will win.

Tigers by 19pts

Agree with what your saying T10, but final round games can do funny things to players mindsets, with one eye on the 2nd Semi, anything is possible in this game…CL nothing really to play 4…EP everything!

Yep I agree with Robbo I reckon there is everything to play for, a spot in the side, being in a side thats lost just 1 game for the whole year (making the history books), keeping WP in the 4 just in case we play them again and thats a side we beat last week by 68pts (mental edge) and most importantly winning form is good form and thats a message McPhee has been promoting all year.

I would expect we will come out blazing and get used to a good pressure type game to prepare for the following week against the Swans. Meanwhile what will the Swans get? a one sided stroll in the park against Peel! I know what preparation I would prefer!

I reckon EP will come out swinging...literally...with Swan and Beeck in the side.

Well I must admit I would LOVE to see that - images of the classic 1996 GF spring to mind, cant see EP or EF beating the Tigers or Swannies in a prelim though.

We both have far to much firepower up front for the royals, and a fair result will be them being consigned to 5th and WP into a prelim after beating EF in the 1st semi. Its Probably gonna be an SD v Clare GF but would love to see SD v WP coz for 2 hours Leedy and i will be at each others throats! hahahah
