I see the clean out has started with Metropolis and Broadbridge told their contracts will not be renewed at the end of this season!

I wonder who is next ????

Thank **** Broadbridge is gone, terrible decision to get him in the first place. I like Metro, generally found him one of the more open coaches in the media, still I have no idea what he was like as a coach.

Changes are needed, broadbridge was the one that had to go, now we see what unfolds around these first 2.

I thought that Broadbridge may have bought something good to the club with his background.  The Metro appointment surprised me a bit though.  Someone mentioned “cronyism”.....that doesn’t worry me because WCE didn’t become one of the largest, wealthiest and best followed clubs by running the business on “cronyism”.  I think that if we start next season in the same vane as this year, then Woosha will be dispensing scripts at his pharmacy by June ‘11.

As I said, bit surprised about Metro, but how anyone can be surprised at our ‘development’ coach in Broadbridge going amazes me. He is a scapegoat and rightfully so - I challenge anyone to suggest our development has been ‘as expected’?

The guy was dumped from Freo after their years of them going nowhere, and we rewarded him with a couple of years to do what? Exactly the same. He has no track record of note and we should never have given him a chance.

Fair enough Wellsy but he is not the only problem.
Why is is that Suma has survived so long when the rest get shown the door.
If the Eagles believe in John thats fair enough but they are making easy sacrifices to look like they are acting but have they really sorted out there problems. Time will tell but I think and this is only my opinion when you sweep the room you sweep the whole room not just bits of it

Probably the most successfull club in the past 4 years had a warts and all review, eveyone from the President, CEO, and bootstudder. The reults are there now for every club to look at. It was brutally honest with no one spared and NO position not scrutinised.Players such as Ablett were told in no uncertain terms what thier collegues REALLY thought of them. Embarrassing at times from what i have read in various publications. Covering over the cracks just doesnt work, meaning if yer not going to SERIOUSLY look at Woosha and Sumich in a brutally honest way, it will not have any benefit at in in the LONG TERM. IMHO
