I have heard on reasonably good authority that Tony Micale will not continue as the senior coach at East Perth in 2011.  Can anyone confirm??

I haven’t heard anything. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he was moving on as their has been quite a few off field incidents he has had to contend with as well as the lack of committment from a few star recruits.

But if we beat Subi and Claremont we are still in with a chance of finals

Might it have aything to do with possible Discontent in the playing ranks over WIRRA and Mr Lovett?

News to me given he is in his second year of a three year contract. TM does not strike me as a quitter.

EP actually started playing well since Micale said those players who weren’t committed weren’t required.

Micale might come back to East freo if woewodin goes into the afl as an assistant or Micale might go coach the depressing Perth Demons surely not.

Also with wat happened in Karratha and Cadwallader might have taken its toll if your rumour is correct.

News to me seems very keen to keep going and the players hold him in very high esteem.

He’s got a very good list of players that will continue to improve next year. I’d be surprised if he moved on....

EP look like repeating exactly what they did last year......poor start, big run home.....pipped on the final day.....big hopes for next year....where is the development?....nothing in the colts....
....McKinley probably be traded, Shuey and Clarke to play more AFL..... some of your good youngsters could get drafted like Duncan, Stratton etc did last year.....I wouldn’t be suprised if Micale does go........

We have a strong reserves side, so there is a bit more in the tank if we do lose some youngsters - however Webster will be a big loss.

Colts really is a year to year thing. Yeh we might be ordinary this year, but some good players could come through next year and change everything.
