I still laugh at people that side with one political party for all of their days and seem intent on bagging anyone who ‘may’ show some bias against their preferred party.

All taken a little too seriously for mine. Turn up, vote, wait to see how it pans out and live with it for the next few years, when you can vote differently if you aren’t happy.

Well much to the consternation of the party of division and hate (aka the conservatives), it seems the good guys may prevail, with the support of at least 2 independents now.

For Australia’s sake, let’s hope so.  grin

We still don’t know which way they’ll go.

But if the COALITION want the numbers now, they are going to have to do an awfull lot of work to bring the 3 to ever Forgive BARNABY and Co.And then WORK Side by side with the Nationals.

Of course, they could go to the Coalition on the Understanding the Coalition 1 - Give the Sugar Industry a Better Deal.2 - Give ALL Country Constituents a FAIR GO as opposed to TAKE FOR GRANTED LIP SERVICE.3 - The Coalition DO NOT Challenge in any of the 3 seats in the next election.

Good to see the truth came out regarding Abbotts reluctance to have his numbers checked out - $6-11 BILLION in under-estimating! On that alone, you’d have to say the independents would go against him, not a very good attempt at gaining trust.

His reluctance to get the Costing done by TREASURY in the first place was considered a TACTICAL BLUNDER and now we know why.Is that why COSTELLO baulked at ABBOTT in regards to ECOMOMIC Credibility?

I don’t think that Costello’s doubts about Abbott’s credibility would have stopped at economics.

That seemed to be the Main one,Jack.

Might just watch the 7.30 REPORT(Repeat edition) and LATELINE for any potential Developments tonight.

Must be getting Close, but if it takes the weekend,I’ll wait.

Either way fellas, don’t HASTE your Decision to please the MURDOCH RAGS!

If you’ve put enough SERIOUS Thought into this,I could almost ACCEPT your Vote going to the Coalition should you choose to do so.And it’s Important for the HEAVIES in the ALP to SHUT THEIR TRAPS if this did eventuate.

Not sure the Libs(A minority without the Nats)and MURDOCH’S HACKS will react that way,but to MARK ARBIB and others,PLEASE SHUDDUP!

Well theres no surprise that the two lefties sided with the ALP - were they ever going to do anything else?

Doesnt really change things much as they were always going to be plus two for the ALP.

Big question is the National Indies, Libs costings stuff up sounds bad for them, and might sway them.

If they go that way they are stuffed as a Greens controlled Senate wont do the bush, WA or QLD any favours as they seek to implement a carbon tax , add to that marine parks along the east coast that will impact on Kattas fisherman, the mine tax in Mt Isa and death tax on inheritance that they will seek as well will screw the Cockies farm inheritances.

It’s all pointing towards labor. Wonder how many votes the 3 independents would have got if their constituents knew they were voting for labor and the greens?

imo the whole situation is a farce and we should go back to the polls asap.  how can anyone govern when the parliament is held to ransom by 3 indies who are only really concerned with their own survival at the next election and a senate controlled by a party which has no policies other than tree hugging...give me strength.
