I think the time is right to drop back all players that are qualified to play colts back into the colts team.

We have had a good look at what these kids are capable of at league level there is absolutely nothing gained to keep them up for the last 2 rounds.

For the last 2 rounds i would have a look at the “borderline"players in ressies, promote them into the league team to see if some still have a future at our club.

Collingwood don’t win the 2011 flag,Swan districts finish 8th and the Eagles finish 4th,Thats a pretty sweet year!!

I thought about that for a bit Steve.

OK,if there’s a WIDE OPEN Windowfor a Flag like in ‘08 and possibly last year.

But I reckon the COLTS left now and some good 16’s should be ASSIGNED a SINK or SWIM Test and see if they can produce the goods the next 2 weeks.

Win and they deserve a crack at Finals, regardless of whether The TOP 2 pigeonhole them as Making Up the Numbers.Just never know,if you catch them with a BAD ATTITUDE.

Lose, well given the form for the last 6 weeks of the season,THEY TRULY DON’T DESERVE to be there. And these are 2 EXAMINATIONS to see what our Boys are REALLY made of.

GREG HARDING made no secret of the Fact after last time,he would like to Knock us off given we’ve had the wood on SWANS since the ‘08 GRAND FINAL.This week is his PERFECT Opportunity to SEAL a spot in the Finals for SWANS and knock us right off.

And wouldn’t WAYNE ORSI just Love to Provide the COUP de GRACE,having Barely gotten near us in the 7 or 8 times he’s played us.May have beaten us just once, but be that or not,if he STUMPS us Saturday Week,it coudn’t have come at a WORSE Time for us.

Ball’s in Your Court Fellas.Have you got it in Yers to DEFY the ODDS?

It could be your Friend at SWANS or WEST PERTH for all I care.

Big question is,Will it cause a Positive Response from the Colts at PERTH?

Well, finished off with an Eye pleasing performance in FLOGGING the CARDIES by 99 points.

Just a pity the Good Attitude of Yesterday with a few new kids eager to do their bit can’t be REPLICATED in SEPTEMBER.The Month that REALLY Counts when you list your achievements in a Football career.

We lost 10,quite a few that we shouldn’t have and at Home. But 1 in Particular where a COLLECTIVE BAD ATTITUDE COST US DEARLY.You guys know the game I’m talkin’ about. hmmm

To be BRUTALLY Honest,I thought we might be starting again here with most of the past 2 years moving up to Senior Level. We may have Overperformed with BUSH and CONS in the team, but even then we suffered losses that defied belief.

ATTITUDE on the day and there are 20+ a season is A CRUCIAL ELEMENT of any game.In fact,it’s pretty much the Most Important part to take into a game. You can have all the Ability you want, but if you don’t work for it over the WHOLE Season, you’re asking for trouble.

Sometimes it was good in the face of ADVERSITY,often it wasn’t when the odds favoured us.You work on that aspect fellas and You can’t beat not just anyone, but BUT Bloody EVERYONE.Most importantly WHEN IT COUNTS.

Take that thought with you for next season and THINK and WORK HARD over the SUMMER to achieve your Individual and TEAM GOALS.I think the Competitio for Spots next year is about to HEAT UP.And it’s only AUGUST.
