Judd, Matera, Cousins, Kemp, Woosha IMO. Not sure if I can forgive Ben for screwing the club up - but then was it his fault? The club let him get away with it until it bit them on the bum.... fantastic player, glad to see him go out on top.

Ben was old enough to make his own decisions.. all his fault not the club’s.. WCE wouldnt be where they are now if Ben had of made the right choices..
might be a good footballer but lets not forget that he single handedly brought the WCE to it’s knee’s
Spot on as usual KR. Although the club may be partially responsible for handling the situation very poorly, the simple fact of the matter is he is the only person responsible for his actions. He lied and covered up his behaviour and in fairness to the club they could not act on rumour and inneundo.
A good player who gave his all for the club but I can’t see past all the sh*t he has spun over the past 5 - 6 years. Will be interesting to see who will touch him next and where he will be in 5 years.
Take your point GWS but you can’t seperate the two. Any professional is judged not only on their workplace performance but also on their “out of work activities”. No one is disputing he was a great footballer but all the other stuff in his life has to tarnish people’s perception of him and how he will be remembered as a player.

Very true and there is also a good argument that the adulation he received in sport lead to his drug addiction..
Despite the odd STUFF UP,he’s possibly some way to REDEEMING himself.I’m sure with Life after Football,he’d like to take that a lot further.
I know I’ve been a MAJOR Critic of his Off-field Behaviour, but as a FOOTBALLR he was Great to watch.Being a Better person now, would have loved to have seen him Fulfill his Boyhood DREAM of playing for his Dad BRYAN’S Club PERTH,but as he’s Said before -
Of course his issues led to major problems for us, and we are still feeling the effects. But, he could have spiralled further downwards. Instead, he got back up and worked through things, has somewhat repaid the game and the faith people had in him by some decent form at the Tiges. Moving forward, I’m sure his doco can do nothing but good and he will do very well in the media.
The good thing is, he is going out on top. The best way for any footy player to do so.
