I am new to this site ,but i just happened to watch Noranda play Jandakot on sunday and was told that noranda was on top of the Mercantle League Ladder,to my supprise i was a bit dumbfoundered to what i was watching,jandakot was belting them in the first half of the game,but from what i could see they are protected by the umpires Noranda that is ,and was told that it has been that way all season,the umpireing in the last half of the game was all one sided to noranda.No matter what jandakot did they where penalised for it,if a jandakot player touched a Noranda player a fee kick was awarded against them.5x50meter penaltys in front of goal for Noranda resulting in 4goals 1point ,1 umpire swering at a jandakot player,dont know who he was but was a pretty big fella,and then the umpire wanted to give him a red card <Mercantle umpires have no clue to the rules of Football to me they are wannabe footballers> So if Noranda would play in a grand final they would not have a hope in hell of winning it.
I would think that in finals they would have real umpires ,So where ever they play there next game i would be interested in watching that game because i think im right.
Noranda finish on top and deserve to be there. They have beaten all sides, including Kwinana three times. One thing about them is that you are never safe; Jandakot discovered that on the weekend. After an impressive 1.5 quarters we let an umpiring decision take our focus from the game and we deserved to be hurt on the scoreboard. Which Noranda did by kicking goals (5) in a real hurry.
This is something they have done all year against every side. If you drop your concentration for a few minutes they have kicked 2 or 3 goals on you.
We beat them earlier this year using a certain method; and it almost worked again on the weekend. But unfortunately in both games, we were not fit enough and didn’t have the depth to see out the full game. Which Noranda did.
When we beat them we had a 5 goal start into the last quarter and held on for dear life to win by a goal.
It will take a good side over 100 minutes to beat them.
