it’s a pity last years colts F&B Fraser McDougall is no longer at the club......McDougall and Chalwell would of been a pretty good mobile rucking duo in years to come for EF......out of interest who is favourite to win the colts F&B this year?.......Mitch Boyle would of been a good choice, but since he has played about 4 reserves games this year I reckon Cocks or Menagola might be up there!

I thought this was a thread on Tyler Chalwell?.........hard to say what is going to happen on Sat.....Subi have a mental stranglehold on EF......their vice like grip must be released eventually, considering EF have gotten closer this year compared to previous hidings.....perhaps it’s a case of 3rd time lucky this year!!

Be interested to see how Perham and Riccardiello go against Rumble and Parker.....two youngsters against two very experienced and harden WAFL players....goood learning curve for the two youngsters. I can see Lee-Steere up against it playing on Rix on Sat......the kid has punched well above his weight/height this year, not too sure who is gonna to support him, but someone needs too.....perhaps Chalwell needs a debut?......

I watched EF v Perth on the weekend as my son played little league for EF at half time and for mine, Perth were rabble and EF only marginally better.  If Subi dont get up then they dont deserve to play finals footy...mind you, Subi havent been much better in recent times so could be a nil all draw.

The Sharks certainly have the personell to match it with Subi, it will all come down to who wants it the most. I thought Subi did ok for 2 1/2 qtrs last week against CL, had a real dip and were quite physical at the contest, just lacked the skill & run that CL have in spades.

If all our guys turn up to play 4 qtrs we have a real chance. Chop will be better for the run, had a good first half but as expected faded badly, Bristow had a good game in the 2’s last week, 20+ disposals so he would be welcomed back to our undermanned midfield. Still no sign of Cockie and Forrest needs a couple more games in the 2’s. Dessy needs to start producing as well if he is to have an influence, needs this 1 more game to qualify. Close result but being at home hopefully will get us over the line.

$ubi’s efficiency with the ball always kills us.  Both games this year the Sharks have dominated for long periods in the first half but never put enough scoreboard pressure on $ubi and eventually their greater efficiency won out.  Last game against $ubi the Sharks coaching staff must have been busy with the rest of us trying to break into the Royals members to get a drink.  They sure as hell didn’t seem to notice Keevers having the time of his life across half back and cutting us to bits.  Their movement of the ball around the wings was way too much for us and we were having to regularly start attacks from deep in the full back line.  Same again on Saturday and I think we might have to wait for next year at the earliest to beat $ubi.

Would love to win this one but not sure that the inclusion of Palmer and Masten will be enough.  We shall see.

Best chance you’ve had in the last 19 to knock Subi off...side looks good on paper...good luck, win & you’ll be playing finals footy…

Agree Robbo, both AFL mid-fielders, super fit fulltime professionals, the midfield is where Subi have been struggling for the last month, without Read, Cockie, Bristow & Forrest. If EF are close or ahead at 3/4 time they could run over Subi with the benefit of the fittness of the AFL boys.
I know that didn’t happen last time but adding Masten and particularly Palmer to the midfield is a massive boost.

considering Houlihan may be a last minute inclusion for EF, I can see a lot of run thru EF midfield.....whilst Perham and Riccardiello may be the tall targets up front, most of EF goals will come from the likes of Palmer, Masten, Leslie, Dunn, MacNamara, Davidson, Cripps and Fasolo

.....keeping Broadhurst quiet will be the key to any EF win.....also Pickett seems to come to life against EF......a win tomorrow to cement a finals berth will easily cancel out the past 19 losses to Subi........only time will tell!

I see Broadhurst has been named on the half back flank, surely he won’t play there.
