Ash Prescott leaving Bombers would Perth FC be interested?? He says coming back to Perth for family reasons
I reckon that would be a really good coup!, as a Swans fan i would love to see Perth rise up because they probably have the biggest dormant fan base of the comp as they regularly pull bigger crowds at home compared to more successful teams like Subi and Claremont, and off field seem to be going strong if what is reported is correct
Strange...he left Perth for family reasons, wife originally from Melbourne. That said, he’d be a huge coup for Perth.....he’d actually bring players to Perth, such is his rapport with players. He’d have learnt from his time at both Claremont and the Bombers. However I heard that the Perth coaching job is part-time.
Yep, part time only - advertised today in the West.
The Football Manager position also advertised - full time position.
Perth would have to look very closely at Prescott, if he is interested. IMO he would be a very good fit for the club.

As I said Dee Man he’d bring players with him. Get him a fulltime job back at Clontarf.
Very nice bloke NICE being the operative word! needs to harden up as I dont think players fear him as they would say a Sheedy, Williams, Worsfold, Harvey and so on. Still if Perth could get him I think he has the right approach and was so close to sucess at the tigers it really wasnt fair!
assistant coach at west coast is worth moving to perth for maybe a senior job up for grabs year after but i dont think he would be the right man for that .
Leigh Mathews could be coming and it still wouldn’t change anything. Good coaches come and go at Perth. What on earth is wrong with the culture down Lathlain way?
Give it to Bill Duckworth. Going for his 7th straight flag in A Grade Ammos this year. He’s not pretty but if it’s respect you are after he could be the answer. Might bring a few North Beach boys with him to bolster the playing stocks.
i think he was involved with clontarf and would definitely go back there.
perth would be lucky to get him.
i dont understand his family - perth reasons, thought he was melbourne born and bred?
