With Soloman becoming an assistant coach at the Suns there would be a strong chance that his best mate Tarrant, who is out of contract, could follow him to the Gold Coast.

Very good chance one would think

Given his now proven ability as a quality back they would have to ask for a first round pick.

His wife wants to head back to Melbourne, so for him to go to his club of choice a trade would have to be worked out, otherwise he goes in the PSD and he could end up anywhere, so more than likely Freo would end up with something for him.

His misses should wake to up herself. If it wasn’t for the Dockers Chris Tarrant wouldn’t be playing AFL football by now. From memory he got a very good 4 year contract when he signed with the Dockers and Fremantle have really only got 1 and 1/2 good seasons out of him. It’s a fool who plays with form and rolls the dice and takes it for granted he can just go to another club and his good form will automatically continue.

Anyway Mark Harvey reckons Tarrant loves the place and he questions where this talk comes from. Why would you leave a club that is in the frame to win a flag in the next few years and he only has 2 or 3 years left in him anyway?

I hope he stays but if he goes we could use him at the Hawks

Hard to see him leaving now when he has 1 -2 years at best left in him and Freo on the verge of having a good chance at success in that period. If reports are correct, he loves living in Perth and you would think the misses would wait a year or two.
