If WP come with the right attitude the weather wont play a part.. We are good enough to beat SF in any conditions if the players are mentally prepared.. a win on Friday will put us right back in the mix.

Good to see some positive feedback Diesel. Agree and we can win this match.
On any given day (or night) any team can win if they have the right mental approach
A must win as with CLA/Perth to come still have a couple of hard games to play.

Could come down to the Perth game and they will want to go out with a Bang.
Same applies to EP v CLA,Subi v SF in the last round.

None of The final 4 contenders being Subi/EP/EF/WP have a easy road home.
EF have Peel and should goto 44 points there. Subi will come good
EP outside chance.

Losses dont mean you are out as other results could go your way

Nice finish to the season

Couple of quotes to finish off that say it all:

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind runs the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.
General George S. Patton

“You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win.”
Zig Ziglar

“You have to know you can win. You have to think you can win. You have to feel you can win.”

Hi Cardy and fellow West Perthies

Re update on Rosco.

The Club advises Ross’ doctors have said that he didn’t have a a stroke.

He is having an MRI scan today and has to go through a few other tests so at this stage the Club doesn’t know what happened or what the diagnosis is.

They will keep in touch with his family on how he is progressing and we all hope that he will be back around the Club soon.

I was surprised they didn’t put an item on the Club’s website re this, too.

Thanks for that info mate as Rosco is legend in what he does with the Juniors at Joondalup and other grounds.
Appreciate it...Might transfer your post to the WP V SF game post as well as people might miss it on this thread.

I was going to ring WPFC today but a mate rang up and gave a update of sorts.

Seeya on Friday Night if you can make it..

Friend of mine saw Ross on Sunday in hospital & he is ok.. Just his balance that is a bit suspect at the moment but he should be out in next few days. May have been just a mild stroke but he is in good spirits.. A WPFC legend he is & a life member.. it’s people like Ross that make WP such a great club..
