FalconMagic, your sequence of three wins from four games also includes Peel & Perth (with WP beating the Demons far less convincingly than what EP did).  Admittedly, you flogged Subi on the same day, and by about the same margin, as we thumped East Freo.  The Falcons were thrashed by the Bulldogs, while the Royals were competitive when losing to Swans before our sequence of three wins.  So even money each of two would be a pretty fair price for Saturday’s blockbuster at Leederville.

Both sides in good form so it should be a cracker. However our boys will need to watch their backs at stoppages you just never know when an EP bloke will try and king hit you from behind.

5 East Perth players received blows to the head and that’s because they were first to the ball most of the day and put their heads over the ball. Only 1 report came of it . . Harvey for head butting. The others used their fists but got away with it. But when WP got 31 frees in contested play and EP just 14, I’m not surprised by how easily the umpires looked away when WP’s players ’misplaced‘ or ’mistimed‘ their tackles.

The scoreline flattered the Falcons.

And for Cardy on another thread. The final 50 metre penalty went to Brenden Lee who was clobbered around the ears after he’d marked the ball.

Isn’t life grand when the Garlics lose a must win game at their “Spiritual Home Ground”. You blokes shouldn’t be complaining about the umps as if it weren’t for them the scoreline would have been alot higher.

The 3rd quarter was quite telling in this regard. By around the 15 minute mark WP had had about 12 frees to our 1. No wonder they got back into the game that quarter.

I think we where second to the football in the third quarter and hence WP received the free kicks they deserved in most cases.  I think we have had The Falcons measure for a couple of years but they are always good games.  Finals are still a tough ask but you never know.

Good win by the Royals, the Falcons need a couple of AFL boys back in the team to help out, look at the influence Shuey and Clarke made for the Royals, these guys are a huge asset for any WAFL club, we unfortunately have not had any AFL players for more than a month now, and it is starting to show.

Good win by the Royals, the Falcons need a couple of AFL boys back in the team to help out, look at the influence Shuey and Clarke made for the Royals, these guys are a huge asset for any WAFL club, we unfortunately have not had any AFL players for more than a month now, and it is starting to show.

Looking forward to the South’s game this Friday night, I just hope it does not rain this time!

We will struggle to win this Friday, and I must say well done to EP. Its funny how a sides fortunes turn when your coach decides to have faith in your local boys and piss off the quick fix attitude !

If we were cocky why would we be silent for 11 days ? We’ve won our last 4 games. Truth is we have 2 separate chatrooms - one official, another unofficial, that we frequent regularly - and we don’t bother coming to Footygoss all that often.

The sole reason we posted here at this time is because of the crap WP fans posted about us.

Its always a special delight to do you over.

I just loved the Miller article in the West which concluded with this:

This is shorthand for WP going headhunting, and for many other players besides Wulff ‘copping it’.

Weather not looking good according to todays forcast
Showers clearing but the conditions will most probably be a Slow track which doesnt suit us
Most probably go down on Saturday as well to see the Ressies and possibly colts
