Spin, that would be nice but not sure it will/can happen. I will be there to support the lads but usually wait to see the team selections before making too much comment.
The Tiges will be waiting on what happens with the ins & outs of their big AFL contingent and more importantly whether Jones is fit to play. Subi are waiting to see if their midfield can return, something that has been missing for 4 or 5 weeks now. Could get back Read, Cockie, Forrest, Bristow and Hedland is likely to suit up unless his knee is gone again. All will be underdone and no-one expects us to get within 10 goals, so absolutely no pressure on us, good chance to give those blokes a good hard run before the final 3 critical matches against the Sharks, Ferals and Sowfs. Like I said all expectation will be on the Tigers, a loss is never acceptable, but realistically if we get within 30 points it will be a fair result.
Think 2007 SS Claremont had a similar season but when it really counted when the pressure was on they went missing big time could be shaping up the same way again!

10 players which is great really because they will probably all play apart from perhaps Orzel who is currently in the ressies. The above blokes will be ACHING to win one and the other 12 or 13 selected will be full of excitement at being in a GF which is a great mix.
If we play Swans whichs looks likely they will be hurting as well after they lost the PF last year and the GF in 08. All in all its gonna be one hell of a game!

Yep still an if...I wouldn’t discount EF if they make it either T10…some players to come back from injury & AFL duties come September could make them very dangerous, they just need to get there…

The big difference for Claremont is the new Coach. Smooth Prescott was a great bloke and had a good footy brain but from reports, he was a bit of a soft touch, too chummy with the players and that showed when it came to crunch time in the finals. Your current coach has added a tougher more ruthless edge to the Tiges and I don’t expect them to fold in the finals. Swans have improved their list drastically from that of 08 & 09 including seasoned afl & interstate players, their main problem imo is their flaky coach the mad professor, not sure he’s on the same page as everyone else, but time will tell, if he gets them over the line he will be a genius!!
