"Andrew” Goddard??
Steve Johnson “Collingwood?”
Lenny Hayes center AND follower?
Jack Riewoldt “capt”?
Rockcliffe mentioned before Judd?

Thank god you don’t have any say in football as you don’t know much about it.
Then again a spot on the WAFL commision awaits.

Swan to replace the 2nd Lenny Hayes in the middle. Didak to the flank. Lecras into the pocket.

Chapman, Swan or Ablett for captain.

Aside from these - dogman got all the other obvious errors smile

Scarlett’s missed 7 games - he won’t be full back. Lake to be full back and someone like Gilbert to the pocket?

They need to define the all australian side much better than they do.

Is it the best 22 players of the year??? Or

Is it a side based on the best players in those positions as if you would be playing a game?

We all know positions are not as relevant as they once were but I think this side should be picked on positions and then it would be a far greater honour.

For example if Nick Reiwoldt and Johnathon Brown both had great years then only one of them should be picked. They should not go into another catagory.

Lecras should be up against Milne, Davis and maybe a couple of others for the forward pocket spot.

There would be approximately 50 odd midfielders who would vie for the midfield spots.

It would be much simpler and would mean so much more.

What is the point of naming them in a position if they never ever play there just to name them.

It would of been something to see which FF they would have picked when Ablett, Lockett and Dunstall were running around. It would be a great thing for one of those individuals to get the spot instead of fitting them all in positions they don’t play.

Pick a side in Positions or come out and change the name to the best 22 players in the compeition.

Yeah fair call WB on Goodes / Hall i thought long & hard about that but in the end if you lined both them up i would pick Goodes.. Just. Cassisi has been amazing this year.. leads the tackles in the AFL & is an underated Captain.

GWS it should be who has played their position the best.. thats why i went Riewoldt over Hall.. he’s kicked more goals..

Diesel that is what I saying, I don’t want to see Riewoldt FF and then hall because he also had a good year slotted into a pocket. Those blokes are vying for one spot and one spot only. Only one of them should get it and then it would be a huge honour.

By the way I think hall is equal or in front now isn’t he???

Riewoldt is 3 in front i think, plus the side he plays in to do what he has done is even bigger an effort. Imagine him in the bulldogs?

Yeah Pavlich has had a terrible couple of weeks 4 goals and 4 goals (another not allowed) and played mainly in the centre. WTF

no buddy diesel?
maybe i haven’t watched enough hawks games but is hodge playing at chb mostly?
would have him in as skipper though wink

would be awesome to see this team run around though

and i think GWS, they could take a lot from the NBA model, where they pick on position and name a second and third team of 5 for the year
must indeed mean so much more to know you are most valuable center, point guard etc for the year, and still no mean feat if you are in the second or third of the starting 5s
