The Paraburdoo Saints are heading over to Tom Price this saturday night to take on the Townsite eagles in a rematch of last years GF which we (the Saints) won by about 3 goals here in Para. Should be a big crowd and hopefully a good game. If we continue our good form from the last 4 weeks we should come home with the cup again.

I’ll wander down on Saturday night and watch this game with interest. Hopefully it will be as interesting as last year’s contest when Saints outplayed Towns after halftime.  Big week coming up in Tom Price with the Nameless Ball tomorrow night and the launch of the Shire of Ashburton’s revitalisation plans for Tom Price and Parburdoo funded by Royalties for Regions money during the Nameless Festival.

Interesting local grand final.  Towns lead at the first break by 10 points but by half time the hard running Saints lead by ten points.  In the third quarter No. 13 Willy ....gave an outstanding performance up forward and helped Towns to a 16 point lead at the final break.  Towns kicked a couple of early goals in the final quarter to run out comfortable winners.  Towns Eagles 100pts defeated Paraburdoo Saints 70pts.
