Yeah Swanny sure ur crushed! hahaha - seriously tho yeah tragic coz he missed all of those weeks with the hand injury - he would have easily got to 100 in fact would have been there by now i reckon. Thats footy though I mean look at Freo right now - injuries play a massive part.

Yeah we have had a few recently too, South as well , but look at WP who are getting some back now, so they will be dangerous in Sept. Its all timing, hopefully no more major injuries for any finals bound side from now on!

On a serious note it wouldnt have worried me if Jones was fit because Ames has his measure and im sure would have again, a good duel it would have been..not quite Ralph and Mullooly though!

Well I reckon we blew it in the 82 and 83 flags by being too Ralphy focused. From memory he had a shocker in both games. We kicked 11 goals in 82 and 12 in 83. On most occasions GF wins are a team effort unless one player has an outstanding game. Its dangerous relying on one player to score your goals so although tragic and I really feel for Jonesy especially if we win it, perhaps its a good thing!
